Save the Environment!

For a school project, we have to raise awareness and work together to protect the environment.

And we should.
The environment needs to be protected.

You guys need to protect the environment. Global warming will occur, water sources will be polluted, and all kinds of nasty things.

I know you guys don't care about the environment, but it's important, and you should.

The environment has taken a worse turn lately, thanks to the Earth Day oil spill.

It's real easy too to help. Just do some small things, and we'll clean up the environment easily, even if you don't know that you are.

Reuse plastic water bottles, pick up after yourself, turn off the lights or TV when you're done using it, walk instead of drive occasionally to short-distance places, and many other things.

We CAN make the environment better; you guys just have to apply yourselves.

I know you guys just think that I'm just another person thinking that we need to clean the environment, but at least try this. Protect the environment for 1 week.

The environment will get significantly better, believe me.

You just gotta try!

  1. Of course we should be mindful of our surroundings, and your suggestions are good.

    BUT

You have to realize, the threat of Global Warming is a murky one. Especially considering climategate, it seems that it's main proposers are people who don't think the situation is grave enough to get people to do anything.

It's like you said, as one person, it feels hard to get people to do things. I'm sure they felt the same, but rather than right a blog about it they fudged numbers, exaggerated, and based their results on politics, not actual science. Even though their intentions were to get people mindful of the environment, what they've really done is taken the credibility of environmental science down about 10 pegs.
